Powerful Negotiators agency was formed in August 2004 (formerly known as Mega Force) with just 20 associates. Headed by group leader, Kelvin Fong, it started off with a very focused agenda – to get a strong footing in the HDB property market in several Geographical Target Areas (GTAS). They then expanded further into the private property market in 2007.
From the start, Kelvin and his wife, Janet Lim, decided to build Powerful Negotiators on a strong foundation of synergy between its team members. In an industry where to-each-his-own attitude prevails, the agency showed that a ‘bare all share all’ strategy works better for all - the agency, the individual agent and their clients. The team even has a proprietary online system that allows individual agents to share information among one another in real time. The Powerful Negotiators team does not need to wait for the quarterly report from authorities. Clients get advised based on the analysis of the latest market situation at any given time.
It is no wonder that the group shot to the top of Propnex ranking within just a year. Sales hit the $10 million commission mark in 2007 – a four-fold increase compared to the year before. Even with a bleak economic environment in 2008, they racked in $13 million in sales commission, a true testament to the power of synergy. Also, its Team Managers have been consistently ranked No. 1 in Propnex since 2006.
Today, Powerful Negotiator is a name to be reckoned with in the private property market, namely in the Districts 1 to 11, 15 and 16. There are 9 Team Leaders, Team Managers, and 550 agents under the group’s name.
